Stephen King's crazy idea of a rabid dog on the rampage! Shocked Probablly his most realistic book since there ain't no supernatural twists for once. I liked it. Thought it was great. Pretty damned hard to put down in fact! Strange idea though...Never thought a story about a dog gone rabid would be so good.

On Christine now... Cool Hell, yeah!

I have to agree, of Stephen Kings collective works, I think his most realistic ones were the best. If there's even a hint of Deus Ex Machina in there then I just tune out.

"The Stand" was a great book and I had really high hopes for it, that was until it became a pointless good vs evil, cliche. He's a bit like Tarantino in that respect, great start decent middle, "god-awful" end. "IT" was especially disappointing.

Can't quite get into The Stand myself. Gave up on it at Book 2...

And Tarantino is one of my fav directors. Pretty unrealistic plots to his movies but that don't stop them from having style. Cool

Just recently I learned from his autobiography that he couldn't remember writing the book, he said that it was mostly a blur (or words to that effect) due to alcohol, drugs etc,.

Still, I could say the same for my writing even without convolutions- Writing in itself isn't that memorable
